24lb Ford Motorsports bosch injectors would work fine in your application. And also bear in mind that the 24s will flow about 25.6 with a stock GM pressure regulator at 43.5 PSI. Fords are rated at a lower pressure.

Actually, just some of the 24's flow more. A bunch of us over at thirdgen.org sent out numerous sets of different size ford injectors for testing, and found that all sets were flowed at 43.5 psi.
If I recall, one members set of blue 24# flowed around 26lbs per hour, at 43.5psi.
I just installed 24lbs injectors in my 93 LT1 6sp. I replaced stock ones. I was having troubles with starting the car and had a tough time mainting a steady idle wether it was cold or hot. The car seems to run like a champ now. Great throttle response, smooth idle. But, I also have a reprogrammed chip from PCMforless.com.

Joe that would be about right because Ford used to rate their rail pressure at I think 37 PSI. Which if you do the math that would equate to 26 lb/hr flow rate over the rated 24. The FMS catalog does not spec a flow rate based on pressure. Most aftermarket injectors are all rated for a standard 3 bar pressure rating or 43.5 PSI.
Hi.
The stock injectors of an 85 is 24lbs/hr.
The stock fuel pressure on the 85 is about 36psi. So by increasing the pressure of the fuel will make the stock injectors more than good enough for your power range.
The injectors are pintle types and are not that sensitive for fuel pressures in the high 40s
Ford fuel pressure is 39.5 PSI, and the FRPP injectors are rated as such. The gentleman that said 26# equivalent, with 43.5 is closest. I would run the 22's if they are flowing well, and trim it up with a little more pressure, if necessary. If they are old, it's almost as cheap to get a new set of FRPP 24's.
