Default EGR Temp Sensor

I have an 87 vette with a L98. I just finished the motor and am trying to finish up some loose ends. I need to know in detail where the temp sensor for the egr tube plugs in. I cant find the connector and its driving me nuts! Thanks

On my 86, the sensor screws into the top of the tube on the distributor end. Black wire comes out of harness at rear of head and attaches with female connector. Insulation may be covering this up. Hope this helps.

The EGR temp sensor on my 89 plugs into a connector that is laying on the valve cover directly above #6 cylinder. This is forward of the distributor. It exits the wiring harness at this point. Hope this is helpful.
