Default Ignition Coil?

Hello, this may be a dumb question but i cant find the ignition coil to see if i bought the right one. I got an MSD perf. coil (part 8226) they guys at the store werent 100% sure if this is the one i need or if it is the other. well i went to go look to see if it matched tonight and i cant find it. is it in plain sight or did i just not look hard enough? or does anybody off hand know if this is the right part thanks in advance

It's bolted to the front of the passenger side cylinder head.

The '96 coil is different than the previous years.
The '96 coil should be used with the '96 ignition module.

I don't know if I would use the words "no good."

But, the '96 ignition system was designed to be optimized as a matched set.

The stock '96 coil is a hotter coil (less primary impedence) than previous years.

I am using and have been using the MSD red perf coil for a year now WITHOUT the module with no problems. But now that it's been mentioned, I will have to look into it and see if I should just replace the module as well
