My '91 coupe was running a little hotter than it normally does today .
I started the car after it sat for 1/2 an hour and it stalled. I restarted and the temp was was almost all they way to end of the gauge range.
Got on the Highway and she cooled down just fine.
Did not boil over , no coolant leaks !
Got home and let sit for 2 hours . Checked coolant and it was all the way up. Restarted fine and turned on the A/C to see if the fans both came on. Only the left fan was running with the A/C on .
this is an extremely well maintained 150,000 mile car that has never had over heating probs.Thermostat is recent.
Any suggestions on where to start the diagnosis would be appreciated.
Just took it out and got the temp to normal operating for the hot day we are having. Both fans are running fine !
After sitting for 15 - 20 minutes she stalls right after you start her up.
Re start and it's a little rough for a minute then it's fine ???
Never done this before so I suspecting a soon to come bigger problem.
Fuel maybe ??
Not sure where to start to with this one. any suggestions ?
