Default Oil Cooler Adapter

Does anyone have any experience with the oil cooler that bolts up to the oil filter. It appears that my 84' came with out the adapter so I purchased one, I just had the motor rebuilt so now is the time to add extras. The lines are already ran to the filter I just need to know what kind of fittings are used and what material of bolts to use. Thanks.
p.s can the a.i.r pump be deleted with out a replacement pulley

I bypassed my oil cooler... less coolant leaks to worry about. On an 84, you can delete and bypass the AIR pump. You'd need to get a shorter 85" belt though.
