So despite complexity, is the DFI unit a bad choice?

The Gen 7 is extremely good unit and will have no problems doing what you require. FAST XFI & Big Stuff is newer with more bells and whistles but, do really need them? You already have the Gen 7 so use it. I have read and heard good things and bad thing about Big Stuff and only good things about FAST XFI so far. There are several member that use one these units. Hopefully they will chime in and inpart so wisdom.

I have used/tuned all three of these systems. If you want all of the bells and whistles in the package, BS3 will wind up being cheapest. For most applications, you do not need all of this, so the other package winds up just a bit cheaper.

They will all work for your application, so it just comes down to personal preference. For my preference, I prefer not to spend money that I do not have to spend. You have the DFI, so I would run the DFI.
