Default check engine soon

Does any one have an answer for me. recently I had water in my gas tank pretty much. I did get it out and I am on about the four or fifth tank of gas since. I did an oil change to be safe that I didn't have water in the oil also. But since the water problem, now when I drive about 14 miles The check engine soon light comes on. when I turn off the vehicle the light goes off. When I restart it the light is off. After driving again about 14 or so miles it comes back on it runs okay. but light is always coming on. Is this related to the water problem or something else. thank you

The SES light comes on when the key is in the forward postiton, but not normal to see it while you drive. Sounds like a code 32 EGR. Here is how to check. Just use the top portion to check the code as the list of codes are different that a vette.
