code 1661 please help?

The only thing I can think of is a faulty PCM, or the SES control circuit is shorted to ground (circuit comes out of PCM connector 4 pin 9
brown wire with white tracer).
You could try cutting the wire close to the PCM. If the SES light goes out the PCM is at fault if the light stays on it's shorted to ground (PCM controls ground side of circuit).
