I used a custom 25 3/4" drive shaft for my swap.... the auto shaft was a little over an inch to long... so probably around 27.xx inches if that helps... I still have my auto driveshaft... I can take a measurement for you.

The transmissions are the same length. That is why a rear end swap works with only a drive shaft and "C" beam swap. If the transmissions AND the rear ends were different lengths, it wouldn't be so easy. The automatic drive shaft is approx 7/8" -15/16" longer. It is also a 1310, so it fits both diffs. More often than not, the auto drive shaft can be retained in a D36 to D44 swap.

That’s all great info one thing is missing how many inches or millemiters is it CAN I GET A MEASUREMENT

Please go to this post to reply

How long is your driveshaft I need one 28”

I have an 86 corvette Dana 44 from a manual Trans. My drive shaft needs to be 28” max. I might be able to get by with a 28.5” driveshaft. I have a little play in my engine mounts to adjust for the length, but not very much.
If anyone can measure there driveshaft. That would be great I can buy one for that year model.

Year model makes no difference. Didn't I say that earlier? All C4 autos have the same length shaft. All C4 manuals have the same length shaft. The manual shafts are 7/8" to 13/13" shorter than the auto shafts. Didn't I say that earlier? Hello? Hello? Is this thing on?

OK OK
Wow
I’m very confused
You said you answered my question like 3 times or something. Maybe I didn’t see the fine print. But where you ever did say how long it is. if I know how long one was I could add or subtract to find the length of the other one

13/13" is that the same as 85734/85734" or 550.175/550.175" or 1"?
