ok.. so i got a pcmforless tune.. i got new injectors, maf, plugs, wires, opti, coil, o2's. and i can't get the bank 2 fuel trim to come down at light throttle and/or idle. bumped the fuel pressure to 55psi and its stilll like 25-35% long term fuel trim but when i am getting on it it goes down to zero the rest of the way to redline.?? is that normal? its a 96..

When you are hard on the throttle you enter PE Mode or rather Power Enrichment. In that state the PCM is in open loop in most earlier strategies however in later cars the PCM remains in closed loop but ignores o2 sensor inputs and flat lines the fuel trims while in PE. When you see the numbers go to 0 or 128 with the throttle past approximately 60% you are in PE mode. If one side is staying above 25% then I would check to see if you have any exhaust leaks on that bank, engine misfires, faulty injectors. Any unburned o2 sensed by the o2 sensor will be interpeted as a lean condition, and the PCM will fuel for it accordingly. If you got a exhaust leak near the sensor on at the header flange, that unburned o2 will be seen by the sensor and the PCM will get a lean report from the sensor to add fuel.
bank two is the passenger side i am assuming? i cannot see or hear any leaks coming from that side.. the car drives much better with the new maf though.. i will just have to replace the header gasket also to see if thats it..
