Default what sensor ??

I have an 1985 Vette. I did a little banging tyring to get my headers off and broke the plastic tip off the sensor on the right cyclinder head. I looked up Ecklers online and didn't see it. I'm thinking it's a temp sensor, but the picture in Ecklers shows a different sensor. Any help would be greatly appreciated

On the LT1 the temp sensor is on pass side head, towards front of the car, not sure about the L98, but what else could it be?

It's on the passenger side between the #6 and #8 cyclinder. The link you posted from Ecklers is on the driver side between #1 and #3 cyclinder

That one is located on the front of the intake manifold. It is either the fan temp switch or knock sensor.

The knock sensor is in the block. The item rssshen vette is looking for, is in the head, "on the passenger side between the #6 and #8 cyclinder." It is the fan, high temp back up switch, or auxiliary fan switch for a 1985. GM part number 14043276.

RACE ON!!!
