Assuming the fluid is at the proper level, and does not smell burnt, adjusting the tv cable and hoping for a blocked filter is all you can do. Keep your eye on the c4 partsfor sale section. I have an upgraded (compared to the 84) 87 trans that will be for sale soon. It will be priced right.
