Has anyone out there tried a ramjet 502 in a C-4? Any input would be great. I am considering a project car. The two routes I am considering is a Ramjet 502, or building a LS series motor.
However, if you plan on driving this on the street, you had best check with your local emissions laws first. A BBC was not available in these cars, and the BBC was not available in any car since well before the C4 came out. This means the EPA won't accept it as a legal conversion/upgrade.
What does this mean to you? Nothing if you don't live in the one of 5 states that use CARB emissions standards.
Otherwise, upgrading to an LSx is cool.
IMHO, the LSx is the better upgrade. Both have their g-whiz factor, but the LSx is seriously light, and generates so much power...
check the C4 Tech FAQ. There are links in there that will guide you to some of the biggest threads regarding the LSx or BBC conversions.
