what does the dash sensor do on an 1990 non zr1 mine was missing when i got it i have one now i have to pull the dash to put in in just worning if it was worth it
That's your Sun load temp sensor. It's works with the a/c (electronic) to determine a/c needs.etc.
To remove, ( grille) pry up on the rear of the grille with a small flat screwdriver. Their are a couple of tabs holding it. Be careful, the plastic is probably brittle from sitting in the sun for all these years. There's an electrical connector you have to remove & the sensor is removed, quarter turn to the left.
