Default fuel pressure reg. vacum

We have removed all the AIR, EGR fittings amd on our 87' and after installing the new fuel rails and adjustible fuel reg. where to we hook up the vacum line? Can we also block off the (2) vacum fittings on the back bottom side of the plenum? We have all these vacum lines that went to the front of the engine by the TB can they all be blocked off also? Thanks wro87

When I removed my A.I.R., EGR, etc., I made my vacuum connections to the passenger side of the plenum where that were two hose bibs. I chose one for the AFPR and the other for the cruise/gas tank vent, etc.

When you remove any part that has a vacuum source, you MUST block off that source or you'll have a vacuum leak that will adversely effect performance.

Most auto parts stores sell little rubber fittings for that purpose. Those stores even have them in packages containing different size block-offs.

Hope this helps.

Did the same with my old TPI setup. Dod't forget to plug the vacuum port on underside of TB (if your EGR took vacuum there)

Default vaccum hook up

Thanks Guys: That's the info I needed amd I went by O'Reillys today to pick up an assortment of plugs. Now you don't know if there is a differnce in hook up on the to the TPS switch. The 87' had a hoizintal with 3 wires and the new TB has one that is mushroom shaped (91-96 Camaro?) with 3 leads. The TB had been on the shelf for about a month and we didn't notice the difference until now (VENDOR SENT WRONG ONE AND WON"T X-CHANGE) . Well now we are changing out the throttle cable and have just got the ECM back from PCMforLESS.

Thanks wro87
