Default ATI harmonic balancer question.

I was looking at getting a ATI harmonic balancer for my 87 and while its a 406 it was internally balanced and it just uses the stock damper at the moment. Odd thing is if you search for the right one for an 87 you end up with one (part number 917781) that is 6.325 inches. The stock one on the car is 6.75 inches. If you search for ones that are 6.75 though all you get is LT1/LT4 balancers with the separate hub and all.

So am I just supposed to use the smaller size even though it will throw off the relationship to the timing tab on the timing cover or is there a 6.75 inch one that I have overlooked. Thanks for any help.

Default more info

I called my engine builder. He wasn't there but one of his shop guys was and mentioned they have a very similar motor being put together right then. He went out and measured the ATI balancer on it and it was 6.75. So now I am really confused. These are the super dampers not the 5800rpm max rpm, non SFI, street ones. Still have not been able to get in contact with him for confirmation of what he had in mind. Anyone ever use one of these ATI super dampers on a L98 type motor that has the 6.75 inch balancer stock? Odd that ATI gave me the wrong part number but the tech guy couldn't find it in the lookup chart they have then had to put me on hold for like 5 minutes so I don't have a lot of confidence that he didn't just take the first thing someone told him and ran with it to close the call. Any ideas would be helpful.
