Default Which face of the pilot bearing should face you? pics included

I was wondering which side of the pilot bearing should face you when doing a pilot bearing install at the end of the crank.

Side A. (Flat face)

Or Side B. (Bearing face)

Any help is appreciated!@

It looks like the "A" side has a bit of taper (to help guide the input shaft). I'd install it that direction.

Be certain to install it in ONLY to the crank flange surface. Any further and you risk the tranny shaft not having enough contact with the roller bearings. (I think there's almost another 1/2 depth in the crank. )
