E68 A/C problem

E68 A/C problem
My left 3 buttons do not work, every blue moon on Tuesday I can get them to work. I guessing this is because they are probably used the most, my question is can these buttons be cleaned/resoldered or do I need to get another unit?

This is a two part answer. Had a similar problem and was lucky enough to get it working by cleaning the edge connector and connector behind the unit.
The other solution for a more serious problem is to dis-assemble the unit and re-solder the card on the edges, where the buttons are mounted and any other area that looks like it might need to be re-flowed. Some have been successful at this process and requires a good skill level.
