Special 383 Short Block
$2,995.00
This special offer consists of a fully prepped late model 4 bolt main, 1pc rear main seal roller block that has been decked, bored & honed with torque plates. The rotating assembly consists of a DES 4340 nitride treated steel 3.75" stroke crankshaft, a set of DES 4340 6.0" H-beam rods, Clevite 77 cam bearings along with race rod and main bearings, a set of Probe 2618 alloy 9.83:1cr @ 64cc forged pistons and a set of Speed Pro plasma moly rings. The kit was precision balanced to +/-1 gram and professionally assembled by the folks at Strokermotor.com.
If you already have a camshaft, timing set, a set of heads, oil pan and all of the other bolt on parts needed to complete the build, this piece is for you.

They are local to me. I've heard some other forum members say good things about them. I'm pretty sure Mo_Bandy has one of their motors.
I called them and talked to them when I was looking at getting a motor built, and the reason I didn't go with them, is they were waiting 6+ weeks for AFR heads, and I didn't want to wait that long.
