Default Valve seal part #?

Can someone suggest a brand and part number for valve seals?
'91 L98 with stock 113 heads. Looking for a direct replacement.
Thanks

I am having good luck with some sold by Pioneer. They do not have an on line catalogue so no part number. No matter what brand make sure you get seals for street use. There are some excellent seals used in racing that do a wonderful job at controlling oil but will harden rather quickly.

I will recommend felpro viton seals. I'm using 16 intake seals rather than putting that useless plastic exhaust umbrella on
Your local jobber should be able to supply them right off the shelf. If you need a number, i will look for it

make sure you don't use the teflon ones. teflon is not an elastic material, and it wears sorta like metal parts. once the material is either displaced or it's worn by the valve sliding through it, it will leak worse than the little o-ring type that gets harder than bakelite
I just went into my speed shop and asked for 89 corvette valve seals, and he brought me a little felpro box with 8 inside, so I got 2 boxes.
been about 2 years now, and still no problems.
don't remember the number, but they have the catalogue to look it up in

So, you just used intake ones on all the valves with no issues?
Will these work on the 128 casting Alum heads from an 86 Vette?
I am buying a set today and want to change the seals before I put them on.
These heads are going on my 88 Formula LB9 305 TPI motor, can you recommend a head gasket set for me.

Yes, and Yes. The intake seal is a more positive, effective, seal. I have seen intake seals used all around, even with fresh valves and guides. Use the rubber "O" rings with them, too.

RACE ON!!!
