unconnected ground
I have a 1994 LT1 there is a ground clip on the right side of the engine next to the dip stick tube the wire is broken off and hanging in space I cant find the other end or where it was connected what does this ground go to?

I don't know of any grounds over there on an LT1. Are you sure it's not the wire to your temp gauge sending unit? Is it green?
Is your temp guage working?
