Default 1986 Distributor help

I'm trying to troubleshoot a rough running issue with my 86 coupe. I'm checking the distributor per FSm and have a question about the coil connectors.

The TACH and BAT connectors, what color are they? One is white and the other is pink. Which is which? When I changed the dist cap I may have swapped them.

I believe the tach is white. See were the white wire runs to. Should go to the tach filter.

The big, fat pink wire is the 12 volts for the "BAT" connection.

RACE ON!!!

I don't think you can swap them. One won't fit in the other. Anyhow. if the car won't start, you have them wrong!

Some of the coils require the use of a short metal ground strap....comes with the coil, and some have the ground wire already attached to the coil, just needs to be grounded, but it ain't gonna work without a ground. When you route the coil wires be careful, I crimped one.
