rear bumper removal
could somebody explain or steer me in the right direction on how to remove the rear bumper on my 90 vette so i can have it repainted

Try this, its pretty inexpensive and filled with good stuff.

-Remove the rear wheel wells and license plate.
-Remove teh 4 10MM nuts between the quarter panel and bumper on each side, accessible after the wheel wells are removed.
-Remove the rear tail lights by reaching through the license plate light hole.
-Remove 4 10MM nuts on each side of the bumper between the quarterpanel and bumper (at the uppermost left and right curves) accessable through the lense openings.
-Remove the single nute & bolt behind the license plate, and 2 larger bolts above each tailpipe extension.
It should slide off.
