Default LOWERING QUESTION

I would like to lower the back of my C-4 but all lowering kits that i see just have longer bolts this will allow the car to ride on the sway bars instead of the springs. I don't want to make it ride like a truck just to lower it. Has anyone modified the linkage on the sway bars to compensate for the lowering.

No, I just installed the two bolts and dropped it 1 1/4"; rides fine and handles better than before.

Lowering both sides simutaneously shouldn't really affect way bar action, since it pivots in the frame bushings.

Ive lowered the rear as well a little bit...the longer bolts set the spring height on where the car sits and wont affect the sway bar.
However, I went back to an almost stock ride height..everytime there was a dip in the road, the car would bottom out hard and bust my lower back on the ride...it wasnt very comfortable.

I decided to raise the car back near stock height but till a little lower then stock and found a good compromise.
If you have alot of bad roads or so-so roads and drive the car everyday, you may not like it lowered, but whoah will she feel like she handles even more.

Thanks for the info guy's Bill sounds like you were running out of shock travel that is another problem that could arise from lowering. I would like to have the back a little lower but i think i drive too fast for it to be practical. i have went over hills and had the exhaust hit the ground but i will admit that i got a good bit of hang time on that one. :D
