Default Granatelli MAF Sensor

Is there a difference in the Red, Blue, Black sensors for the 95 LT1, non cold air? They are 269USD at jdsperformance.com, from looking at the Granatelli site they look like a pretty good, quick mode for a stock LT1A4.

Thanks,

N7

I've heard of people loosing 2 or 3hp with this sensor. I've never seen an actual dyno of it though. I would put the money toward a custom tune instead. I went with PCMFORLESS. You could even get it dyno tuned for less then what they cost.

I talked to my engine builder about a different MAF sensor, and he said to stick with the stock. (we are talking a 520hp 396 here)

I bought a used Granatelli off someone here on the forum, but it went bad and really messed with my car.

I think in this instance, its best to stick with stock.

Don't waste your money, I bought one a few years ago, installed, and it was a turd. Put your money to better use.

Its all marketing BS, don't bother wasting your money on that thing. Save it for a decent exhaust or header system. Most of the time, those things are way out in left field as far as their calibration is concerned.
