Do you drag race?

Well you have a chance to be a part of the biggest Corvette drag race of 2007!
We are happy to announce the 2007 National Corvette Challenge. What is the National Corvette Challenge? It is an opportunity to get your Corvette out and take it down the quarter mile while competing against other Corvettes in the largest gathering of Corvettes with a common interest, the Corvette. Join enthusiasts from many different states in this once-a-year gathering.
In 2007, for first time we will be featuring a People’s Choice Corvette car show. All attendees will get a chance to vote for their favorite Corvette in each generation. There is something for everyone, racers, showers and spectators.

Both Vettes? I presume heads-up with the the C4 and bracket with the other (did not see another in your profile).
If you don't mind, send me an email at edgarperez@corvettechallenge.info so I can add you to the list
106, that's a wicked lookin 84 in your profile. I've got an 84, and I'd settle for double your quarter time right now

I do have one question.
If you are knocked out of the challenge is there a test & tune available to keep drag racing or are you on the trailor. I would hate to come down and run 3 or 4 times and be done. That would be an eight hour drive for 3 or 4 runs. Not saying i cannot hit a light or run the number, but sh@t happens at the line.

I'm in. Sounds like fun, but I want to make sure I can get several runs in if I drive to Richmond.

We will have a open time run session that will last at least 2 hours. If you figure we will have 100 cars you should plenty of time to make as many passes as you want.
Jim, we are not planning on time runs after being eliminated. Keep in mind we have buy backs. If you lose in the first or the second round you will be able to buy back in for $25 bucks which goes to the payout.
So you are in right Jim

11.50 with a hardtop is good. 11.49 is not
They are an IHRA track
You in?
