optispark moisture elimination kit installation >
I have a 93 6speed LT1 and was wondering how to install the opti-spark elimination kit.....
Do I have to remove anything to get to it, or can I just jack it up and get to it from underneath...
Is this kit worth it, may it actually prolong the life of my opti on my 93 6speed 31,000 miles?
Any response would be appreciated.

It would be best to do it with the opti off as it requires removing the front cover and 3 bolts i believe. I haven't read in detail to it.

If you bought the $21 aftermarket kit, throw it in the garbage. It creates a vacuum & will draw moisture into your distributor thru it's shrunken seals and ruin it. You must remove the Optispark assy to seal it and drill or replace the cap with the '95-'96 style. The seals shrink after a couple years and they leak like an old roof. Follow C4 Tech Tips and use Corvette Fever article for pic's.
