My system before:
Stainless Works headers
R/T cats
2 1/2" pipes back to Corsa mufflers

Added:
Magnaflow dual in and out muffler with an integral X-pipe

I added this of course, in the location where the factory resonator goes. The Corsa system I bought from a forum member was for an L98 so it did not come with a resonator. Of course being Corsas there was no resonance but it was very loud from outside of the car. My neighbor told me he was outside the other evening and heard me coming from the other end of our road which is just over a mile. This road winds through hills and some wooded areas and he could hear me enjoying them until I finally backed down to turn into the driveway. (It's a great road when I'm not stuck behind some stupid minivan or other POS!) Anyhow, I installed the additional muffler yesterday but did not take it out for a drive until this morning. When I got done it was late, I was tired and the aforementioned neighbor and I had consummed a few cold ones as I was working.
The X-pipe part definitely made the expected and very noticeable difference in smoothness as well as low end and part throttle response.
The muffler mellowed the sound down to a very nice level and still sounds great under throttle. But it still has that exotic and refined sound that I desired. This is exactly what a Vette is supposed to sound like.

sweet!

If the magna flow does not have it, I would drill a small hole at the lower rear of the casing... it would allow for moisture drain... It's what Corsa has added to their updated center section.

I don't care, it's stainless too. Now every single piece of my system is stainless, including every clamp. The 18" sections I put in between the Magnaflow and the rear Corsa pipes are 409, everything else is 304, even the SW headers. I love stainless, I think I have a fetish for it!

I've been looking at that dual in/dual out option for a while now. I'll probably do it over the winter. What was the cost for it?

I was quoted almost $700.00 big ones for stock Muflers from midas w/tips.
I gotta do something to enjoy my fine stereo and bose speakers.
I have flowmasters now and want a mufler that has that rumble but is not loud.
Took my Red 95 to the mountains of New Mexico and had a blast. Got a little cooling problem I got to take care of.

I put Magnaflows on my '94 w/otherwise stock exhaust. They'll give you what you're looking for. I paid <$300.00 w/a military discount at their website and mounted them myself. I work in ABQ - stop by sometime.

Flow master makes a good muffler cause I got a pair on my chevy truck that rumble but don't shake the neighbors windows but they make several different ones and I guess I got the high performance ones on the C4 .
Does magnaflow make several different ones too?
I plan on many more New Mexico trips as I think it is a fabulous place with some great scenery.
Actually I grew up in Carlsbad but over the years I've been gone I had forgotten what miles and miles of country with no fences looked like.
Kind of like going back in time which without city life seemed to slow down. I think thats why they call it a vacation. LOL
All those fantastic mountain views are why they call the state the Land of Enchantment. IMO !

I don't know and it's been awhile since I've been on their website. I think you'll like the sound and volume. I plan to upgrade my LT1 to LT4 this winter w/LT headers. That might increase the volume some. BTW, I live in Flagstaff and work in ABQ, so I use the vette to commute every other trip or so - I get more highway time than I get twisty road time.

The Magnaflow internal crossover is perforated for noise reduction. How do you think it compares to a regular X-pipe for evening out the exhaust pulses and scavengine? Also, did you try the system with just the Magnaflow in place? I've been thinking of running the Magnaflow crossover muffler as my only muffler on my new system.

Do you have a part # and price? I couldn't find it on the Magnaflow website.

Got any pics of the new setup? Sounds like a pretty sweet system.
