The way you buy parts Chris I would've thought you would find one closer than Mi! The weather here has been terrible! Anyway best of luck and I'm probably on the wrong side of state but if you need anything here let me know.

Sorry to hear this, Chris. It looks like we are in similar s*** with transmissions. Did you hold it for long time? Do you think that overheating killed it?

I'll be in touch Mick. I'm picking it up in West Bloomfield.

Thanks for the offer, that's very kind. I'll be just north of Motown so yes, quite a way from you. I lived many years in Ohio and have been up in Michigan in the winter. I don't miss that s*** at all!

Like I said, it was a high miler and I was asking a lot of it so it was hardly a surprise. If a tranny could talk, it probably would have cussed me when I put a stroker and 3000 stall converter in front of it. It ran cool though because I had an additional cooler installed. It was just it's time to go. Now a moment of silence and may it rest in peace....

I'll do it Mick. I won't be there too long, unfortunately. I would need to drive back as far as central Ohio that evening where I can visit my family and then head home the next morning. But we can have a couple of cold ones and BS while I load up the truck. I'm picking up a whole bunch of Vette parts, hence it's worth the trip compared to shipping. It'll max out a full sized pick-up.
