Default Holley Commander 950 ECM

Does anyone have any experience with the Holley Commander 950 system? I will be building a new engine next spring for my 85 C4 track car and plan on something with 500+ NA horsepower. So I am thinking that my 1985 ECM will need to be replaced with something faster and the Holley systems looks interesting.

Thanks,

Brian

Any aftermarket system such as the Commander 950, Accel DFI, FAST or others would work fine. Your old 870 ECM would also work well. I have several 500hp 383's running that old ECM without any problems. If you want faster processing time you can switch out that old 870 for the later 165 ECMs. All of which would provide OE reliability and not to mention economics. The only real benefit from the aftermarket is that they provide real time programability via a laptop. The OE stuff can also be tuned in such a manner but its more cumbersome using a memory emulator.
