Your flow may not be ok. If the core is plugged, coolant flows over the top, but not through the core. Can you imagine what would happen if it stopped altogether?

Check the temp door motor first. Remove the Blower Module on the left side of the Evaporator Case and look inside to see the door. While someone operates the controls, make sure it moves between 60 and
90. If not, see if it will move by pressing on it with a screwdriver. If it flops around, the linkage is held onto the motor that controls it with a plastic clip and it's probably broken. Access from the passenger side after removing the Hush Panel.

If the door doesn't move when you push on it, the motor has probably frozen. That may have set a troublecode. Is an LED on the Control Panel Flashing?

If the door works, the core is plugged. Check the condition of the cooling system closely as the early aluminum head motors are prone to galvanic corrosion and that plugs it up. If it is plugged, disconnect the hoses and flush it with a garden hose or compressed air. If that doesn't work, you'll need to replace it.
