I spent almost a day removing the old rack because I couldn't break the pressure line fittings free, even with a crowsfoot wrench. I was able to pry and force it out with the lines attached and then break them free when it was out. What a pita!! Install should go better tomorrow, I hope. Robert Oh, also it helped once I realized that the steering shaft pinch bolt doesn't just pinch the shaft to the rack, it must be removed as the rack shaft is notched and won't come out with the bolt in.

it took me about 5 hours to remove the rack the first time, and 1 1/2 hours to get it out and hour and 20 to get it back in the second time after the new one was faulty and I had to change it the second time
don't know how it will go the next time with urethane sway bar bushings
