Hi everyone, I am having a problem with my Speedbleeder not closing all of the way. Could it be that the bleeder is not sitting all the way into the caliper? It acts like it is still open, but I have it as tight as I can get it. The other three are fine.
Any ideas?

Do you have the right size and thread pitch? Speed bleeders should open and close just like a regular bleeder. Another possibility: I had some speedbleeders that wouldn't seat properly... and then I bought the actualy speedbleeder brand and all the problems went away. the actual "Speedbleeders" are definitely worth the extra couple of $$$$.
Oh yeah, and don't overtighten them. You can possibly crack the caliper! They don't take much torque to seat and seal.
I'm pretty stupid. I had the brake line in the hole for the bleeder and vice versa. Changed them out, new washers for the brake line, and all is well.
Thanks.

My personal experience was very similar to yours. I love them for doing brake work but I have had a problem getting them to seal also. Two I got from NAPA and tried to leave them in my old 12 '' front brakes but could not get it to seal well. I ended up putting the original bleeders back in.
When I got the 13'' J55 brakes for the front, they came with speed bleeders. After the install and bleeding was finished, I got one to seal and one would not. Ended up transferring my bleeders from my 12'' system into the J55 system.
Don't know why this happens but perhaps the machining of the angles and fit is slightly off. I don't need to bleed very much now that everything works good so this situation works for me. If I need to do brake work I will install the speedbleeders for bleeding.
I ordered mine through Summit. I could not get them to seal. So I put the originals back in and recruited someone to help me bleed my system. Over and done... Sending mine back to Summitt.
