You need to give a bit more info. Is this engine a replacement L98?

i can feel your pain. just went through this with my motor in the spring. bolt up the pwr steering pump bracket first with the short bolt in the bottom and the alternator bracket bolts up outside of that and the air pump off that. all will come together for ya

Yes, but you may have to swap some fasteners around before you get it right. Several of the water pump holes take double ended studs and it would be a miracle if you got them all in the right positions the first time. As near as I can tell, the bottom left (drivers side) hole takes a 1 3/4" long, 3/8" bolt. The left upper takes a 3/8"-16 x 2.73"/3/8"-16 x 1.32" stud. The illustration in my parts book doesn't show the right side fasteners and for quantity it simply says AR (as required). The bolts are unlisted, but there is no other stud size shown for the water pump. If you have a total of three, then the right side gets two of them.

RACE ON!!!
