Just use your trans with 1 bolt out it will work fine you just need the crank adaptor to support the input shaft or the stub on the tourq converter . the f body oil pan or a hummer oil pan and the motor mount plates either make them or there are lots of people selling them use the other half of your stock motor mounts to the frame and C5 Headers replumb the fuel to the other side use the computer that was with the donor engine fbody or C5 or C6 or after market pully ***. and hardware pumps ect... get someone to tune it on the dyno or buy the software and learn yourself you can use any LS or as it is really named GEN III GEN 4 engine 4.8,5.3,5.7,6.0,6.2 they are all the same as to where things bolt up they are all dementionaly the same aluminum or iron makes no diffrence & the truck 6.0 & 5.3's can be bought for about $800 compleate with wiring & the ecm's change the front acc's and intake oil pan & you are in like flyn at around $1800 add a cam while you have it on the stand 400++++ hp no problem do some searching & you will see this is all correct I already did my 67 FIREBIRD my 84 Vette is next just gathering parts & thinkin about twin turbos for it can you say 600+++ hp & 20 mpg OH YEAH
