WHERE do yall autox over there in Mandeville? I'd love to drive over just to watch if nothing else.
We have to go to Baton Rouge or New Orleans. If you'd like to come your welcome to ride with me. But...we need some C4s out there. I've been the only one out there every time I've been.

Sounds great. I'll bring mine. When is the next one? I'll be back stateside the beginning of March. BR is a little haul but doable. What is needed as far as safety equipment ect?
Have yall been to no problem raceway in Belle Rose. I go there once a year with the local club for Vettes vs. Vipers day. They have a nice road course and 1/4 mile track. Where do you auto X at? Never tried that before. See link below. I think you have to be a member of one of the clubs, but last year if I remember correctly they didn't check for any ID. I went in with a group of Vettes though so who knows.
I didn't see these when I bought in Sept 2005. Damn it. Otherwise, I am happy with my QA1 shocks. Tighten them down and the car gets very stiff.
I backed mine off a little, a bit annoying riding in a hay wagon.

I am planning to race this Sunday in Baton Rouge but there will be plenty more and I will PM you next time.

I have QA1s for the last 1.5 yrs and agree with this post.
With QA-1's I was able to get my C4 low, too low. Picture below is with 1/2" spacers above lowering wedges with "FHB" Z-51 spring. Although it may not look it, rear has also been lowered. There is only 1/2" rake along bottom of side rail.

I have a set of QA1 12 way adjustable shocks that are vitually brand new that I am going to not need anymore with my new solid rear and coil overs that are required.
Will sell them for 225 even if anyone is interested. Otherwise I might just give them to my father for his 86.
IM me if you are interested...they are rears by the way.

You have to have the coilover setup to be able to lower it not just the shocks alone, correct?
No. I lowered car via lowering wedges and delrin pad on end of springs. Car was so low I had to buy QA-1 shortened shocks to get some shock travel. With Bilsteins, I was almost at full compressiion at rest.
What setting on QA1 shocks would give the same ride as Bilstein HD Z51 shocks? Anyone gone from Bilstein HD to QA1 and dialed the shocks to get the same stiffness/feel?
Just picked up the thread. I installed QA-1 TC-1959P front adjustables on my lowered 93. Standard QA-1's had no travel.

Jegs has the part listed as TC1958 and Naake's website, QA1 has it listed as TC1959.
What number is correct? I am thinking the QA1 website is wrong as most of the people who have ordered the 1958P have had no installation problems.

I ordered the TC1958's (for the front) from Jegs...they are the right # for a lowered C4. Actually spoke to a tech @ Naaske, he recommended to set the fronts to 6 & the rears to 4 (for spirited street applications).
I've had them on for a month or so and these settings seem perfect.
