I don't think it's screwed in - I've read of many guys who did add some heavier duty adhesive than whatever the self stick stuff is, though.

I used a high temp porcellain paint on crossfire Air cleaner and will do my valve covers soon. Goes on well with good coverage plus does a good fill for pitting. I'll try to get some pics over the next few days.
