Get a huge @ss system in there. 2 15 sub woofers in the back and two 5 1/2 up front your ear drums will be bleeding.

I am looking at changing the speakers and deck i don't have the Bose now, i would like to use the factory grille if possible, also i am not interested in blasting the sound, i figure that V8 music is enough i just want nice sounds, any setup that work for you guys?

You dont have the year listed in your profile, but i know for sure on the early C4's: 6x9's in rear,4x6 in dash, or pop some component speakers in the door. You can use existing wiring if you trace it all out, but don't expect to run high wattage out of it, There will be lots of cutting of wires too. if you dont want to cut any wires, just run all new wires to each of the 4 corners for the new speakers.
here is my setup:
Kenwood head unit
alpine digital amp for front/rears
soundstream little wonder amp (behind driver seat) for sub
10" sub flush mounted in the back (box is built inside the cargo well)
6x9 in rear, 4x6 in front (and all original grills except dash). Doors are empty, but I redid the grills anyway.
i run a 1far cap and have several wiring blocks under the driver side cargo well.
i can turn it about 1/2 up and CLEARLY hear every note and sound, even with the top off and windows down cruising on the highway. I love my stereo in the Vette!
