Who Strokes????
I want to get a general idea of the cost to have my 85 TPI rebuilt. I want to get some good performance pistons, rings, valves, springs, roller rockers, cam, lifters, and stroke it (383). I want to port/polish the heads as well. I also want to keep TPI. This is a daily driver, but I do want to have enough power to smoke some C5s and Cobras. I plan on keeping the stock converter and gears, since I do quite a bit of highway driving. I have a decent knowledge of engines components, but I really don't understand a lot of the specs. I would just like recommendations of specific parts, and about what the labor would cost for this kind of work. Also, any HP/torque figures or track #'s would be appreciated. Also, the approximate time it should take to perform this work. Thnx in advance for the help.

I just saw a post from A, and I was not aware that a 396 could be built. So, any info/costs on this build would be appreciated as well. Thnx. :confused:
