Sounds like a MAF problem. I had that problem like 4 months ago. When your car idles like that, does pushing the gas stall it out quicker? I would have that checked out or it will inevitably stall out again!

Sounds like a bad connection to the IAC motor, I had a cracked connector that got wet and it would want to idle at 400 rpms at best.
