Default Cleaning valves

I have my trickfow heads removed, disassembled ready to be cleaned and maybe ported.
I put parts on labeled bags and I want to clean the parts.
the intake valves are covered with carbon buildup...
How can I perform a good cleaning without ruin the integrity of the valves.
Some product to use as solvent...
help.
Thanks

Beppe, do you have access to Permatex spray on gasket remover? That product works well for me. I use it to remove carbon on the tops of pistons when we do head and cam jobs on LS1 engines. Spray it on and wipe it off or gently remove it with a scraper. It chemically softens it to make it very easy to remove.

Why are you doing this yourself? If the heads are to have port work done a three angle valve job should be included. That will include cleaning. Carb cleaner will remove carbon build up on valves if you do need to clean them yourself.

I have to sell these heads...
I started to disassemble only because I was not happy to sell without a good cleaning.
Removing gaskets, rockers, studs, springs, seals, keepers, retainers..., sensors
is about 10 hrs
