Re: Comp cam 305 grind (RichS)
John, I thought Cartek sent out there computers. I'll have to talk to him Sat. I just don't want to put the wrong parts in the car. I was happy with the 95 but want a bit more :D It's a disease hehe
Rich, Cartek now has the software to program you PCM (ODBII) on their dyno. They wrote the pilot software using my car. Many, Many, dyno pulls to get the bugs out of it. I really feel this is a big reason why I've been running so good. Julio will be there saturday, You guys need to talk. You won't be sorry.
I think GTP has a cam (or two) in the CC 305 and 306 range. I'm not sure the specs. Chris B. probably knows the specs, hopefully he'll reply. Anyway, I hear they also produce more power than the HOT cam.
The cam you are referring to is our #6 cam grind. It specs in at 235/242 duration and .568/.592 with 1.6 rockers. The cam makes some great power and is actually more drivable than the 306. I highly recommend this cam to anyone going for a max effort LT1 that does not want to go solid roller.
Let me know if I can help. We have 14 different custom grinds.
Chris"ex- GTP employee" Konikowski Will always use their stuff because they are nothing short of the best!!!
