where do i start?

i want to improve the rockers, cam, lifters, valves... etc.

where do i start?

anyone? can i pick the valve springs and rockers now then just change the pushrod length if i get a different cam?

also should i get the heads milled to raise compression or sould i get new heads?

Upgrade your exhaust, port the intake-1.6 rockers and springs will all help

i dont know much about crossfire motors, if you can do the work your self a gran should do alot.

If you do the work yourself you may be able to pull off a small solid roller cam/lifters job along with a valve job with spring set up. With the induction that sits on top of the engine you will not get the results that you would with a carburetor or modified TPI set up, but you will be starting to get things moving in the right direction so that when money permits you can put a good top end on the engine and make some good power. One piece of advice from a guy that runs a solid roller on the street(a very large one at that!) is save some cash and buy the endureX comp cams lifters. Without forced oiling the bearings will fail in a street engine that idles a lot around town(been there, done that!). PM me if you have any direct questions. Hope this helps!
