Default C4 Rear Suspension Dimensions

I'm doing a conversion on my C3. Does anyone have, or know where I can get, the frame mounting dimensions for the rear trailing arms and batwing?

You can get the dimensions from a C4 chassis.

I know you were looking for numbers or a weblink....something quick and easy....but you should be prepared to devote some real effort to this project, and you might as well start right now.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the pep talk rocco.

I was hoping somebody had access to something like this...

http://abf-framedata.com/index.html

For $105 I might just buy it. But something tells me it won't have all the dims i need.

Anybody here work in a frame straightening shop with access to dimensional data?

I'm hoping you have success with the frame dimension info search.

I'm about 60% complete on my C4 suspension swap onto my spare '69 frame, but I've pretty much had to wing most of it. Finding dimensional information other than common alignment specs is almost non-existent.

Check a GM C4 Corvette shop manual. The body repair section has the frame dims you may be looking for.

You might find a couple of useful numbers here http://members.shaw.ca/agent86/Frame%20Dimensions.pdf

I went to a frame straightening shop and asked the guys if I could make a copy of the '88 Corvette page and they let me. They even had a large format copy machine. Be friendly and tell what you want to use the info for and hope you find someone in a good mood. The detail on the car is great, it gives coordinates for all the suspension mounting and pickup points.
