Default Help--Clutch problems after storage!!

Hey all, I just pulled my Vette out of storage (one year), and it seems as if the clutch isn't what it was when I left it. It is not slipping as in a worn clutch, but I only have about 1/2" left on the clutch pedal. So basically, the first 90% of pedal travel is sloppy, and I only get feedback on the last 10%. I can barely get it into gear when it is cold, and after a bit of driving it gets better. When I replaced my first clutch I remember getting a lot of "slipping" so this is making me think it is a clutch fluid issue. So, if it is a master cylinder how will I know? I'm assuming top off the fluid, but then what? I need to decide if it needs a master cylinder or just fluid before I drive it to Utah (it is in Arizona right now). Either way, I'm going to wait until spring for good roads, but I need some help here! Thanks in advance.

Of course the clutch master could be bad. But I would bleed it real well and repalce as much fluid as I could for starters.

Also check for any leakage or wetness at the slave cylinder just to make sure its no a source of a leak.

Is it possible the fluid just got low over the years? I've never topped off the clutch fluid and it has 47,000 miles. And if I do have to replace the master cylinder can it be done in a weekend?
