Default temp sensor
If I pull the temp. sensor out of the head in my 87, how much coolant will I lose. Thanks Jim.

You will lose coolant down to that level; I would drain about a gallon of coolant first, then put a towel under that sensor before removing it.

When I pulled my fan switch on the drivers side I lost about 3 quarts. I caught it in a clean oil drain pan.

How fast are your hands. I'm thinking I could pull one and install another in less than 5 seconds, so I'm guessing 3 oz.
