The ones in the carpet
The one on the side
One behind the door handle
Two in armrest area
Door lock switch needs poped off
Okay, now I am hung up on the door lock. This seems to be all thats left in order to remove the handle bezel and then remove the door panel. The fsm shows a screw underneath the door lock slide but I cannot access it. Any hints on this?

The bezel, on my '84 at least, Is stuck to the panel, It doesnt have to come out of the panel to get it all out. Once the panel is loose you can reach back there and take the screw's out. I hope this helps.
Also on my '84 I dont have a screw there. But if your's is like mine then you can pry the door lock bar up and tuck it behind the plastic bezel... then you should be able to see if there is anything back there
With the door lock forward, pull it out until it comes off the steel rod underneath. You may have to reach in there with your finger to help it out. Now you can remove the plastic part of the door lock by pulling it forward and away from the steel rod. You will then see a screw behind the steel rod. You can nudge the steel rod out of the way with your screw driver to remove the screw.
If that is your last screw you can just pull out and up on the door panel and it should come right off.
I need to do both of mine on my '92 and having done it years ago on my '85, I dread it more than root canal.
You think getting it apart is hard? Ha. Wait till you try to get that black sliding door lock plastic piece back onto that metal rod when you put it back together - I remember that giving me fits.
Anyone know of a well documented step by step of the removal and installation, with pics, like I've found here for headlight motor repair? That actually came from Corvette Fever I recall -
I just did this job. The Bezel comes off with the door.
The door lock slide linkage is what is hanging you up. The Bezel has a slot on the top that you won't be able to see until you get it off. The Plastic piece with the Orange/red tape has to be pulled toward you and worked and it will come off.
Then you'll be able to push the Rod up and out of the Bezel.
The door panel will now come off by lifting up off the top part where the window slot is.
Be careful the wires are all still hooked up. You'll need two hands for the next step. One to hold the panel while you un-hook the wires
