Hello
I have a 1991 Convertible, located in Hong Kong.
Managed to get into a little accident, basically the front right side of the car is damaged, the hood, the bumper, and the headlight housing.
Does anyone know where I can order replacement parts from that will ship to Hong Kong? And if anyone has any experience with this type of accident which parts will need to be replaced?
I think so far i need a new hood, bumper, lining/impact frame/ headlight housing, coolant recovery tank, i think the radiators etc are fine. new side marker lights, and front fog light on the right side... Possibly new upper control arm
Appreciate any input, will try to post some pictures up.

Possibly get used parts from Japan.
Most C4's imported into Australia as parts cars come out of Japan. Were very popular there in the early 90's
Hood is repairable by competent panel shop.
Possibly eBay , even if you have to get someone on the Forum to forward it on to you.
I bought a new hood from a forum supporting dealer for $1100.00 last year. If you can figure out how to ship the hood I would buy a new one vs having the cracked one fixed. The front bumper is $500.00 and lights, and other parts are going to be another $750 to $1500.00. You are going to have to take it apart and find out whats broken and whats not.
Does anyone know what the front bumper air deflector is?
I have this on a quotation from a body shop in the US, is that the spoiler under the bumper? part no. 10149264

Yes its the black skirt piece on the right hand side that attaches to the underside of the front bumper. Unless yours is buggered you wont need that, and from what i can see in the pics it looks ok
contact www.vette2vette.com. Jason is a forum vendor who does ship overseas.
I would replace the hood.... sure, it can be fixed, but does anyone in HK really know how to do it?
I spent a couple years working in China and spent a lot of time in Hong Kong. The Chinese can copy just about anything and make just about anything, its hard to imagine that there isn't a body shop somewhere in HK that can't fix the car. There are a LOT of very high end cars there, just as there is LOTS of people there that are shall we say well endowed financially. With the many Jags, MBZ, and I know many exotics as well, I would think somewhere there is someone that is able to repair fiberglass cars. Good luck in getting your Vette repaired.
actually we took a look at the inside of the hood today and the inner part is cracked in the middle, so it wouldn't be feasible to fix it.
Does any one know if you order a complete hood assembly, is the inside lining included?
If you're set on getting a new one, I'd think there are dealers closer than the US. Japan & Australia for instance.
Nice thought, but forget it. I buy my parts straight from the US cause the price is better. No GM dealer in Australia will touch Corvette parts (unless its a common part used on australian GM vehicles) and the importers charge accordingly cause most Australian Corvette owners know no different.
So expect to pay 3 times the cost for a bonnet from Australia. And it will be a used one for certain.

I bought a new hood from GM last year, 1996 model... The hood was complete other then the wheel well liners and the felt on the top part of the hood had to be purchase separately. I had to buy new liners and rivets to secure the liner to the hood. Also the underside of the hood wasn't painted and of course the top side wasn't either.
