SRC light on with C12 code !
I checked the codes and I have nothing exept C12 that, I presume, is good sign.
I d like to know if there is a specific procedure after replacing FX3 to have this light off....
The select ride button dos not change the suspension and they remain hard but the car is handling perfectly.
Dos there is a specific code for FX3 or actuator to show for me to determine the cause ?
Thanks to all
What year is the car? Need to know that in order to tell you how to get the DTCs for the ride control
I followed C4cruiser procedure about FX3 codes and...
ALL CODES SHOW UP.
12,13,14,21,22,23,41,42,43,34,33,32,31.
I cleared the codes and did the test again for same result.
I then checked the FX3 module connector.ok
I took out the module and of course...no SRC light.
Plug it on again and then took out the front left actuator to visualy see if it is turning.
In fact, it is turning but only in counter rotation.
When pluging the actuators, I am under the impression it plugs ok as I can clip them easily.
Before changing the shocks, I never got the SRC light on.
I also checked the gear for each shocks and it is turning freely both ways from corner to corner.
I really do not know what is happening....
thanks for help.

90° or 160°?

I did the 3 D pin grounding procedure without turning on so I will do it again with the ignition key on and let you know.
I called one the guy from the US sport car shop specialist in Paris (2 shops around Paris only) and he did not got any idea about that. in fact, he told me to call him when done as he was having this problem with a client 3 months ago and yet did not solved the problem...unbelieavable.
I will let you know.
Have a nice week end.

Did you mean you used "D" instead of "C"?
Jump the pins and turn the ignition switch to RUN. The SRC light should begin to flash the two digit codes beginning with Code 12 which is the start/end of sequence code. Code 12 also appears again at the end of the code sequence.
It sounds like you correctly interpreted the two digit code values by the number and sequences of light flashes , but if you saw all of them, there is something else wrong.
Did you clear all of the codes? Clear the codes by grounding Pin C for two seconds doing it three times with the key still in th e RUN position. Also remember that a Code 23 is set (Loss of Vehicle Speed) if you cycle the ignition switch on and off for three times without driving the car. Once the codes are cleared and if there are no problems, the SRC light will go off once you drive the car.
If there is still a problem, the sytem effectively locks out the console switch and attempts to move all shocks to the same setting.
I strictly followed C4cruiser procedure (thanks a lot) to clear the codes and it worked.
I now have a code n°21 (left front actuator).
In order to check if it was the actuator, I swapped the right one with the left one.
I then cleared again the codes and I still have the code n°21.
I now assume this is due to some kind of wiring problem.
I check the wiring all the way underneath the car to check for broken or deteriorate plastic protection and did not noticed anything unusuale.
I have some doubts about the relay connector that connect to the actuator on the engine left side compartment and would like to have your opinion on how to check it as well as where to check in the ABS bay if I need to do something there.
One precision, the actuator only turn counterclock when I init the key switch and I do not know if it can help to identify the problem. C4cruiser wrote me that it should normaly turn both ways.
Thank you very much for your time and help.

One of the 17 mm diam nuts delivered with the shocks was a 1/4 milimeter taller than original and the inside gorges was absent. I believe it is do to a bad manufacturing. (checked with electronic measurment tool)
All this resulting in a lack of 1/35 mm less inside clearing resulting for the actuator to forces his rotation.
By replacing these nut with the original one, I regained the 1/35 mm needed clearance for the actuator to work in full force.
This delivered nut did not affected the actuator position and clipping but affected the inside actuator clearing. That was the tricky part !
The FX3 actuator are extremly sensitives... Good to know.
All back to normal again.
Due to this very invisible small problem, I was obliged to go all the way and now know very well the FX3 suspensions and related maintenance process.
I want to thank you all for your precious help and especially C4cruiser.
Olivier
