Default Injectors from Five O

If you are thinking of purchasing injectors from Five O, let me give you some advice. I purchased some FMS injectors from them which were supposed to be new, but when I received them they had the smell of gas.

Could not get the car to run right after the installation. They have terrible customer service. I would not do business with them again. Don't do it!

I have heard this same complaint about 20 times. I would never do business with them.

A recent customer of mine got his injectors from them as well. They were installed in a new engine and when it was time to start the engine up it wouldn't start. After several days of looking for wiring issues, ECM issues, prom issues, he finally stumbled upon the problem. That ended up being that he was sent a set of low impedance injectors and our ECMs take high impedance injectors. Having a set of low impedance injectors causes a very high current draw on the injector drivers, this causes the ECM to go into self preservation mode (short circuit protection) to protect the drivers from damage. So in other words the ECM would not fire the injectors. So he contacts them and the guy gives him some grief saying he got exactly what he ordered, the problem was that my customer depended on him to tell him what he needed by application. In the end he got another set of injectors over nighted to him but only after threatening to tell all on the forums. Now he is getting a lean code and I suspect that the injectors are not 22lb injectors but maybe 19s.

Hi Vinnie, things have been very busy. My shops business has increased 150% over last year. Not great yet but getting better and not bad for not having investing much of anything in advertising other than from freinds and word of mouth getting the word out. I have been doing at least one head and cam job on C5/6 cars for the last couple months, and a few C4s as well plus the rest of the GM vehicles that come by for help. Stop by sometime if you make it this way this summer.
